CONNACHT U-21 FC Roscommon 1-13 Sligo 0-8:ROSCOMMON WON their second Connacht U-21 title in three years with a comprehensive victory over Sligo at Hyde Park. Roscommon dominated the first-half and led by 0-9 to 0-2 at half-time with corner-forward Donie Smith scoring four of Roscommon's points.

Sligo enjoyed their best spell just after half-time and reduced the gap to five points by the 39th minute with scores from Brian Egan (two) and Brian Murphy to a lone reply from Colin Compton. Smith sealed victory with a well-struck penalty in the 45th after a foot-block by a Sligo defender.
