Today's other stories in brief
Keane haunted
Roy Keane admits he will be haunted for the rest of his life by the low points in his career. The 36-year-old Sunderland boss suffered mercifully few disasters during his distinguished playing days, but added another entry to his list of football nightmares last weekend when his side were trounced 7-1 at Everton.
The former Manchester United and Republic of Ireland captain insists not a day goes by without a flashback to one of his more unpleasant memories, and knows the latest will stay with him forever.
Keane, who will lead his side into a six-pointer against basement side Derby today, said: "You get flashbacks all the time. "I look back on my career and probably there were five or six major setbacks I had, and not a day goes by when they do not come back into my head. That will happen until the day I die - and last weekend is certainly one of them, and rightly so."
Seedings released
The seedings for tomorrow's Euro 2008 finals draw have thrown up the possibility of Holland, Italy, Germany and France all being in the same group.
The emergence of a "group of death" in Lucerne is a distinct possibility, as is an "easy" group with Greece, Sweden, Romania and Poland all able to be drawn together. Uefa have calculated the seedings on the basis of results in the qualification tournaments for the 2006 World Cup and Euro 2008 and not taken into account performances in the finals in Germany last year.
As a result, world champions Italy find themselves in the pot of second seeds and beaten finalists France in the four bottom seeds.
Moyes rules out move
Everton manager David Moyes has admitted he would one day like to manage Scotland - but when he is "a little bit older and experienced". Following Alex McLeish's move from national coach to Birmingham, Moyes has been an outsider for the post on many bookmakers' lists.
Having distanced himself from the England job last week, Moyes is now having to do the same thing with his own country. He said: "One day I would like to manage Scotland, but not at the moment. I would want to be a little bit older and experienced. Anyone would want to be linked with the job as national manager, I would like the job but it is not for me just yet."
Riquelme returns home
Juan Roman Riquelme has completed his transfer back to Boca Juniors from Villarreal. The 29-year-old Argentina playmaker said he was pleased to be back after signing a 30-month contract to stay with Boca until 2010.
"I'm having a really good day . . . I've come back to my home, my club and I'm going to be lucky enough to put on the shirt that I've missed a lot for several months," he said. Riquelme has featured strongly in Argentina's four 2010 World Cup qualifying games, scoring four goals.

US midfielder DaMarcus Beasley will have surgery to repair a damaged knee ligament and may miss the remainder of the Scottish Premier League season for Rangers.
