Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor has reiterated his "love" for the club and insists he will not be following Mathieu Flamini out of the Emirates Stadium.

Recent reports have claimed the 30-goal Togo international would seek a transfer unless he received a substantial pay rise this summer, while he was quoted in French paper L'Equipetoday claiming rumoured interest from Barcelona and AC Milan was "very flattering".

Only last Friday, Adebayor attempted to put an end to talk of a move away from north London when he said: "I am very happy here. Reports which suggest I have threatened to quit are rubbish."

And this evening he has once again set out his position, and the former Monaco forward insists there is no chance he will quit Arsene Wenger's promising side.

"I don't know why people want to put words in my mouth," he told Arsenal's official website. "As I said on Friday, I love Arsenal and I will be here next season.

"I am off to Togo tomorrow but will return to Arsenal for pre-season training in July."
