Ancelotti denies deal for Drogba

AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti has played down reports linking the club with a summer move for Chelsea striker Didier Drogba.

Reports in the British press this morning claimed the imposing forward would join Arsenal's Mathieu Flamini at the San Siro next season, suggesting a deal had already been agreed.

But despite admitting an interest in Palermo striker Amauri, a target for Juventus, Ancelotti insisted no deal has been struck for either player.

"Amauri is definitely a player I rate but I think it's tricky for him to come to Milan. On Drogba, the club have absolutely not sealed a deal with this player," Ancelotti told a news conference, before discussing the injured Ronaldo.
