Galway United 0-2 Bohemians: Bohemians extended their lead at the top of the eircom League Premier Division to 10 points with a 2-0 win over Galway United at Terryland Park tonight.
This was a classic game of two halves as Bohemians did all their good work in the first period before indiscipline could have cost them in the second half.
Gary Deegan scored the opening goal after just seven minutes before Mindagus Kalonas added a second for Bohemians minutes before halftime.
However, the league leaders were reduced to nine men in the second half when Anto Murphy and Stephen O'Donnell were sent-off.
Elsewhere Cork City let their football do the talking amid off-field financial problems as they defeated Bray Wanderers 3-0 at Turner's Cross.
Joe Gamble opened the scoring after 15 minutes before Denis Behan, who set Gamble up, got in on the act with Cork's second after 76 minutes.
Behan then added a third from the spot with eight minutes to go.
