League of Ireland Round-Up: Bohemians and Derry City played out a 0-0 draw at Dalymount this evening as neither side were able to make the breakthrough to put pressure on league leaders St Patrick's Athletic.
Bohs have struggled at home in the early part of the season with just one win at Dalymount to date this campaign. A fixture like this can promise so much but in practice the two sides simply cancelled each other out.
Stephen Kenny's men travelled to the capital confident they had a chance to overcome their opponents and move second in the standings. However, it wasn't to be and leaders St Pat's were the only side to benefit from this result. They take on Shamrock Rovers on Sunday evening.
Elsewhere Drogheda United ended the only unbeaten record in the top division when they defeated Cork City 2-0 at Turner's Cross, while Bray Wanderers defeated Galway United 3-2. Sligo Rovers were the other winners on the night when they overcame Finn Harps 1-0.
Cobh Ramblers and UCD played out a 0-0 draw.
