Drogheda United midfielder Stephen Bradley has agreed a deal to join the Scottish Premier League side Falkirk.

Drogheda United midfielder Stephen Bradley has agreed a deal to join the Scottish Premier League side Falkirk.

Bradley, a former Arsenal player, who has also represented the Republic of Ireland at Under-21 level, passed a medical at Falkirk's Stirling University base on Monday and will now sign with the club, subject to clearence being received from the FAI.

Bradley was released by Drogheda United along with Steven Gray, Gavin Whelan, James Keddy and Damian Lynch at the end of November.

"Stephen spent some time with us a few weeks back and he is certainly a very talented footballer and one I am delighted to bring to the club," said Falkirk manager John Hughes.

"He had a fantastic football education under Liam Brady and Arsene Wenger at Arsenal and I am sure he will show those qualities at Falkirk," he added.
