Scott Carson's impending transfer to West Bromwich Albion would appear to signal the end of Dean Kiely's position as first-choice goalkeeper for the Premier League newcomers.
Kiely was Albion's number one when the Baggies won promotion last season but will be 38 and manager Tony Mowbray clearly sees Carson as the long-term future.
Carson completed a €4 million move from Liverpool earlier today, the 22-year-old signing a four-year-deal. The club also have the option of adding another year to the deal.
