Cork City boss Damien Richardson has confirmed that the club has complied with a request from George O'Callaghan and placed the striker on the transfer list.

O'Callaghan had not played or trained with the club for a number of weeks following a training ground bust-up with Richardson.

Richardson released a short statement in Belgrade this morning where he is preparing his team for the second leg of their Champions League qualifier against Red Star.

"George O'Callaghan has not played or trained with Cork City for a number of weeks despite requests on our part to do so," said Richardson.
