The High Court have granted Cork City a further three weeks to clarify the figures concerned in a winding up petition from the Revenue Commissioners.
The Premier Division leaders are believed to owe in the region of €200,000 to the revenue, part of total debts of €300,000.
Ms Justice Mary Laffroy has now put the hearing back to June 15th after an application from Mr Olann Kelleher, representing Cork City FC Ltd, the holding company for Cork City.
The problem, which the club says relates to the period prior to examinership last year, apparently relates to a liability which came to light after a settlement with the tax authorities had been agreed as part of the examinership process.
