UCD 1 WATERFORD UNITED 3:Graham Cummins proved the hero for Waterford United at College Park tonight as his two goals sealed a place in the EA Sports Cup final against Bohemians.

After a goalless first half it was Kenny Browne that put Stephen Henderson’s side ahead just before the hour mark, with tall centre-forward Cummins doubling their tally on 64 minutes.

Cummins added a second four minutes from time, before UCD were reduced to ten men when Chris Mulhall was sent off on 88 minutes.

The Students collected a late consolation goal for their efforts when Ronan Finn fired home from the penalty spot in the second minute of injury time.
