Soccer:Shelbourne's long-standing goalkeeper Dean Delany has extended his contract with the Tolka Park outfit, making him the first signing ahead of the 2010 campaign.
The former Ireland under-18 international has been with Shelbourne for the last two seasons and was previously there from 2004-2006. In between he played for Waterford United.
The highly experienced keeper was part of Ireland’s 1998 European Championship winning side and also enjoyed stints with Everton and Port Vale, from where he joined Shelbourne first time around.
Last season he played all but one of Shelbourne’s games in the Division One campaign.
