St Patrick's Athletic 0-1 Derry City: Derry City are through to the semi-finals of the Setanta Sports Cup after Kevin McHugh scored the only goal of the game at Richmond Park tonight.
It's the second time this season the Candystripes have travelled to the Dublin venue and come away with a win. It also leaves St Pat's in the precarious situation of needing to beat Glentoran and hope Derry don't lose to Linfield at the Brandywell in the final round of group matches.
Derry's winner after 33 minutes came when Steven Gray worked a clever one-two with Kevin Deery before McHugh took an instinctive shot from the cross and found the St Pat's goal.
The game lacked fluency in parts and St Pat's struggled to create enough chances for themselves.
