Bohemians 0-1 Derry City: Stephen Kenny's Derry City spoiled the party somewhat as eircom League Premier Division champions Bohemians lost 1-0 on the night they were presented the trophy and winning medals at Dalymount Park.
It was only Boh's second defeat of the season and a result that brought to an end their 12-match winning run.
The only goal of the game came late on in the 76th minute when Sammy Morrow played Mark Farren in on goal down the inside left channel and the striker, watched last night by scouts from Brighton, shot past Brian Murphy despite the keeper getting a hand to the ball.
Pat Fenlon's side also finished with ten men as Anthony Murphy was controversially sent-off for diving by referee Richie Winter.
It could be argued Fenlon has one eye on next week's FAI Ford Cup semi-final at St. Patrick's and therefore made four changes to the side that clinched the title at United Park last week with regulars Liam Burns, Killian Brennan and Stephen O'Donnell on the bench.
Derry hold third place in the league and remain in contention for Europa League qualification next season.
Elsewhere financially stricken Cork City and Drogheda United played out a 0-0 draw, while Galway United made easy work of Bray Wanderers, winning 4-0 at home. Sligo Rovers were 2-0 winners away to Finn Harps.
