One of the country's greatest rivalries will be renewed in the next round of the FAI Carlsberg Cup following tonight's pairing of Shamrock Rovers and Bohemians.
The Dublin rivals have enjoyed memorable battles down through the years but with Rovers now plying their trade in the First Division the league has lost one of its top fixtures
That, however, will be rectified when the two clubs meet again late in August at Tolka Park.
"It's a fantastic draw for us," says Rovers manager Pat Scully. "The chairman Jonathan Roche had been saying 'get Bohs, get Bohs' and we have so we're absolutely delighted.
"I'm sure the respective fans are also delighted. Our supporters have been magnificent all season but haven't perhaps had the games in the First Division that would capture their imagination. This one certainly will."
The other eye-catching tie sees Shelbourne pitted at home against Derry City in a re-run of the 1997 final which the Dublin club won 2-0.
Killester United, the only non-league team still in the competition will relish their home draw against Premier Division Dublin City while Limerick, conquerors of holders Drogheda in the last round travel to UCD.
