A second minute goal from Graham Cummins proved enough for Cobh Ramblers to take the points in a Premier Division basement battle with Galway United at Terryland Park this evening.

The result is the second defeat on the trot for new Galway manager Jeff Kenna after defeat to Bohemians on Friday night.

The result sends Cobh three points clear of the former Ireland international's side and one point ahead of UCD.

In the First Division, Sporting Fingal moved level with third-placed Waterford United thanks to a 3-1 win over Gareth Cronin's side at Morton Stadium.
