The FAI has confirmed the dates and times of the two international friendly matches in the US this summer.
After games against Turkey and Italy on this side of the Atlantic, Martin O'Neill's Republic of Ireland side will, as expected, travel to Philadelphia to face Costa Rica on June 6th (8pm local time, 1am Irish time) before they embark on their World Cup campaign in Brazil.
Four days later on June 10th, Ireland will meet Portugal, another nation bound for Brazil, at Met Life Stadium in New Jersey (7.45pm local time, 12.45pm Irish time).
Ireland host Turkey at the Aviva Stadium on May 25th before playing Italy, England’s Group D opponents in South America, at Fulham’s Craven Cottage on the 31st.
Tickets for that game are available through www.fulhamfc.com, while www.fai.ie is currently selling tickets for the Turkey match and will publish further details on the US games on Tuesday.
