James Collins declared that everyone was loving "on-fire" West Ham after Saturday's 2-1 win over Manchester City.
Goals from Morgan Amalfitano and Diafra Sakho secured victory over the champions at Upton Park, with David Silva's superb run and strike just a consolation for the visitors.
Defender Collins told BT Sport: “The boys are on fire. Everyone’s loving it, we are loving it. It has been the same for years but something has clicked this year. We are on the up.”
City boss Manuel Pellegrini said he thought Amalfitano's goal was offside and felt his team had been "unlucky".
West Ham manager Sam Allardyce acknowledged it was possible his team's first goal was offside, but said his players were far from lucky after recording their third win in four matches and cementing their position in the Premier League's top five.
“We have a very, very good squad now,” he said. “We have to keep our feet on the ground. We have to keep our feet on the ground.”
