Southampton manager Ronald Koeman is confident of being able to call upon Toby Alderweireld. The defender left the field on a stretcher at Stoke last week with a suspected “dislocated shoulder”, yet he is in line to make an immediate return. Victor Wanyama (suspension) and Filip Djuricic (ankle) remain absent, as do Fraser Forster, Jay Rodriguez and Emmanuel Mayuka.
Tottenham will assess goalkeeper Hugo Lloris’ knee injury before the game, in the hope he can return from a three-match absence. Right-back Kyle Walker is out for four more weeks after suffering a foot injury against Burnley last month and could miss the rest of the season.

Burnley have no fresh injury concerns. Defender Steven Reid (calf) is back in contention and midfielder Ross Wallace (knee) has suffered no ill effects following his recent return to action. The only notable absentees are long-term knee injury victims Dean Marney and Kevin Long.
David Nugent is a major doubt for Leicester. The striker suffered a calf injury in the warm-up ahead of last Saturday’s win over Swansea. Defender Marcin Wasilewski should be fit after a dead leg while Dean Hammond continued his recovery from a calf injury by playing in an under-21 match against Manchester United on Monday.

Mo Diame appears unlikely to feature for Hull after reporting a sore knee in training. The Senegal midfielder, who came off the bench against Southampton after a long injury absence, will be assessed before the match while manager Steve Bruce also has to cope without David Meyler (suspended), Andy Robertson (ankle) and Curtis Davies (thigh). Alex Bruce’s broken nose makes him a doubt, while Steve Harper is expected to continue in goal ahead of Allan McGregor.

Jefferson Montero is pushing to start for Swansea. The Ecuador winger has not begun a match since mid-February, partly due to a hamstring injury. Striker Bafetimbi Gomis remains absent with a hamstring problem so loan signing Nelson Oliveira deputises up front again, while central defender Jordi Amat should fill in at left-back as Neil Taylor completes a two-match suspension.
