Aston Villa (20) v Bournemouth (13)

Forward Gabriel Agbonlahor has a virus and misses out for Aston Villa. Libor Kozak is in contention after more than two months out with a fractured ankle while Ciaran Clark, Adama Traore (foot) and Jack Grealish (ankle) are also fit for Villa, who can be relegated this weekend.

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe may be without Adam Smith who has been carrying a hernia problem for several weeks. Joshua King is back to full fitness after illness and Harry Arter (Achilles/calf), Benik Afobe and Junior Stanislas (both hamstring) are improving but unavailable.

Norwich will have captain Russell Martin back in their squad after he recovered from a minor knock. Winger Nathan Redmond could start after returning from an ankle problem as a substitute against Newcastle, while full-back Ivo Pinto is expected back from a virus but midfielder Alex Tettey (ankle) remains sidelined.

Stephane Sessegnon is available for West Brom after being left out last week against Sunderland following a late return from international duty. James Morrison (hamstring) is closing in on a comeback after being out since January while Callum McManaman may be available following an ankle injury but Chris Brunt (knee) is out until next season.

Newcastle defenders Fabricio Coloccini (calf) and Paul Dummett (hamstring) have returned to training but lack match fitness. Dummett may be required as specialist left-backs Massadio Haidara (knee) and Kevin Mbabu (thigh) are ruled out and emergency cover Jack Colback completes a two-match ban. Karl Darlow continues in goal, with Tim Krul and Rob Elliot (both knee) out for the season.

Swansea’s top goalscorer Andre Ayew has shaken off an ankle problem and is available after missing the last three games, but midfielder Leon Britton and defender Jordi Amat are both struggling with back problems and could miss out. Full-back Neil Taylor and striker Alberto Paloschi are pushing to start.

Chelsea will be without John Terry (Achilles), Eden Hazard (hip/groin), Diego Costa (suspended), Loic Remy (groin) and Nemanja Matic (bruised leg). In the absence of strikers Costa and Remy, Alexandre Pato could make his first start or Radamel Falcao could make his first appearance since October following a thigh problem. Defender Gary Cahill (hip) faces a fitness test.

Gareth Barry returns from suspension for Everton, after missing the defeats by Arsenal and Manchester United. Left-back Leighton Baines is set to be included after apologising for his comments about the team’s lack of chemistry but midfielders Leon Osman and Steven Pienaar are doubts.

Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson is facing a spell on the sidelines with a knee injury. Forwards Daniel Sturridge and Roberto Firmino are pushing for starting places after brief substitute appearances against Borussia Dortmund but Divock Origi could keep his place in attack.

Stoke have Ryan Shawcross and Xherdan Shaqiri available after their recent respective back and thigh problems. Glenn Whelan (back) and Marko Arnautovic (knee) are doubts however. Goalkeeper Jakob Haugaard, who made his Premier League last weekend against Swansea, is set to remain in the first XI due to Jack Butland’s season-ending injury.

Struggling Sunderland have no fresh injury concerns and winger Sebastian Larsson is among those pushing to force his way into a starting berth. Striker Duncan Watmore remains the Black Cats’ only long-term absentee with an ankle ligament injury which is set to rule him out for the remainder of the campaign.

Versatile wideman Jeff Schlupp returns from a knee injury for Leicester after suffering the blow on international duty with Ghana. Matty James (knee) is unlikely to feature as he continues to recover from his long-term injury, with Claudio Ranieri expected to name an unchanged team.

Wayne Rooney will not be ready to return. The 30-year-old will step up his rehabilitation from a knee injury by playing for United’s Under-21s on Monday and is joined on the sidelines this weekend by Adnan Januzaj. Bastian Schweinsteiger (knee), Luke Shaw (leg) and Will Keane (groin) are also absent, while Ashley Young and Phil Jones could get their first minutes since returning from injury.
