Republic of Ireland international Wes Hoolahan has committed his future to Norwich by signing a new two-year deal.

The 34-year-old creative midfielder is the Canaries’ longest-serving player and has scored 45 times in 338 outings since arriving from Blackpool in 2008.

Norwich boss Alex Neil said: “Wes has always been a special player for us. More often than not, he’s the one I turn to when I need someone to deliver something for me, and he never really lets me down.

“He’s a quality player. We all know his qualities. He’ll be key for us this year.”
