Uefa Cup team news: Everton manager David Moyes made two changes to his side for their crucial Uefa Cup match against Fiorentina at Goodison Park.

Lee Carsley and Leon Osman were recalled with Tony Hibbert and Tim Cahill standing down - the latter because he failed to recover from a foot injury in time for this second leg match.

Everton, who went into the match on the back of a 1-0 Premier League win at Sunderland on Sunday, were hoping to overcome a 2-0 deficit against the Italian side and book a place in the quarter-finals.

Tottenham head coach Juande Ramos brought Young-Pyo Lee back into the starting XI for their match against PSV Eindhoven at Philips Stadium.

Lee had not featured since the FA Cup defeat to Manchester United in January but was drafted in to face his former club, who held a 1-0 lead from the first leg of the last-16 clash.

Ramos spoke on the eve of the match about how the South Korea full-back had fallen down the pecking order. He also talked about attacking PSV with pace but left winger Aaron Lennon on the bench.

Ledley King was back in the side after being rested at the weekend and he partnered Jonathan Woodgate, who recovered from a slight foot problem. Midfielder Jermaine Jenas was also back after a twisted ankle.
