Soccer:The FAI has made an additional 2,000 tickets available for tomorrow night's Europa League final at the Aviva Stadium after Porto didn't take their full allocation.
The Portuguese side were issued 12,000 tickets for the final against Braga but informed Uefa they would return 2,000 tickets.
According to the FAI, tickets issued through Ticketmaster were sold out this morning but “Uefa have now given the FAI clearance to put some extra tickets on ticketmaster.ie following discussions with FC Porto”.
It remains to be seen if the 50,000 capacity stadium will be sold out but the FAI suggest it will be a full house.
Ticket holders are advised to get to the Dublin 4 venue in plenty of time for the 7.45pm kick-off due the ongoing traffic restrictions around Dublin in light of this week’s Royal visit by Queen Elizabeth II.
