Ipswich right back David Wright is expected to start after a hamstring injury. Moritz Volz is out with inflammation of his pubic bone while fellow defender Ben Thatcher should come into contention after illness. Ivan Campo is out for at least a further fortnight after tearing a calf muscle.

Villa are without the suspended Ashley Young and skipper Martin Laursen is unlikely to be available as he continues to recuperate from a knee problem. John Carew (back) and Wilfred Bouma (ankle) have returned to training but will not feature.

Millwall defender Zak Whitbread is suspended so Tony Craig will step in at centre half. Manchester United will be without 10 senior first-team squad players for the match after a costly Carling Cup outing against Derby in midweek.
Anderson and Jonny Evans will be missing for three weeks with ankle injuries, while Nani (groin) is also absent. Park Ji-sung (hamstring) will not figure either and Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs are also slight doubts.
On-loan striker Fraizer Campbell is ineligible to play against parent club United. Spurs also have a host of injury problems ahead of the fourth-round tie, with Heurelho Gomes (thigh), Vedran Corluka (thigh), Ledley King (hamstring), Jermaine Jenas (calf), Jamie O’Hara (hip), Aaron Lennon (groin) and Darren Bent

There are doubts over David James despite Adams’ contention that the England goalkeeper will play through the pain barrier aided by injections in a troublesome knee.
Swansea hope Tom Butler’s hip injury clears in time, while fellow midfielder Leon Britton is available after a ban. On-loan duo Nathan Dyer and Dimitrios Konstantopoulos are eligible to play but Matt Collins (ankle) is out and Marcos Painter and Ferrie Bodde (both cruciate knee ligament) are out for the season.

Republic of Ireland midfielder Stephen Quinn is suspended for United. Blades manager Kevin Blackwell made several changes for his side’s comfortable third-round win at Leyton Orient and could be tempted to do so again.
Kyle Naughton could switch to midfield as cover for Quinn, with Kyle Walker a possible candidate for full-back.

Defender Caldwell served a one-match ban during Wednesday’s Carling Cup semi-final encounter with Tottenham while Thompson was cup-tied having played for Cardiff in an earlier round of that competition.
Stephen Jordan is an injury doubt so Christian Kalvenes could replace him in the starting line-up.

Cardiff are expected to have a fully-fit squad. Striker Jay Bothroyd was a doubt heading into last Saturday’s 1-1 draw at Birmingham with food poisoning, while Peter Whittingham pulled his hamstring and fellow midfielder Paul Parry also took a knock during the game.
Manager Dave Jones will keep an eye on Whittingham ahead of the tie but all three should feature.
Arsenal will be without suspended full back Gael Clichy but defender William Gallas is fit again following a hamstring problem. Goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski will again get a chance to impress and midfielder Aaron Ramsey is set to face his former club.

Goalkeeper Diego Cavalieri and full back Andrea Dossena could be involved. Also in the frame are Ryan Babel, Yossi Benayoun and Lucas while Daniel Agger (calf) and Alvaro Arbeloa (hamstring) will have late fitness tests.
Toffees defender Joseph Yobo could return to the squad having missed the last four matches with a hamstring injury, but will probably have to settle for a place on the bench. Key midfielder Marouane Fellaini serves the second match of a two-game ban.
