The FAI has reduced ticket prices for the Thomond Park friendly against World Cup hosts South Africa on September 8.
There was sharp criticism of the association’s decision to omit a special rate for children and charge €55 for a stand ticket ahead of last week’s 3-0 defeat to Australia at the Limerick ground.
The policy resulted in a shortfall of around 6,000 fans and FAI chief executive John Delaney admitted soon afterwards that they had got it wrong.
For the visit of The Bafana Bafana, then, stand tickets will be €40 and children’s stand tickets will be €20.
Tickets for the north and south terraces will cost €20, while access to the east and west terraces will set fans back €30.
Schoolboy/girl tickets remain at €7 and will go on sale through the FAI, Gleeson Sports Scene, Mahon House, 25 Upper William Street, Limerick and the Thomond Park ticket office on Monday.
Manager Giovanni Trapattoni will name his squad for the game, and the World Cup qualifier against Cyprus three days beforehand, on Friday.
