International round-up: David Beckham won his 100th cap for England but had little cause to celebrate as a Franck Ribery penalty earned France a 1-0 victory in Paris.

Beckham picked up a yellow card and played for 63 minutes before leaving the pitch to a standing ovation from both sets of fans and being replaced by David Bentley.

Ribery struck from the spot in the 32nd minute after goalkeeper David James had brought down Nicolas Anelka to condemn Fabio Capello to his first setback as England boss.

At Windsor Park, David Healy scored for both sides as Northern Ireland's first-half blitz proved enough to see off Georgia 4-1.

Healy was given a special award by Uefa president Michel Platini before the match in honour of his scoring exploits in Euro 2008 qualifying, but he missed a string of chances before Burnley striker Kyle Lafferty finished a snappy move for the opener.

Healy did register with a deflected long-range shot before Lafferty headed a third, his second, as the hapless Georgians capitulated before the break.

Nigel Worthington's team lost momentum badly after the break following a string of substitutions, and Healy slid the ball into his own net after Maik Taylor had saved Levan Tskitishvili's spot-kick following a handball by debutant Michael O'Connor. Peter Thompson bundled in a late fourth for the hosts.

In Glasgow, Kenny Miller's first-half equaliser against Croatia at Hampden gave George Burley an encouraging start to his tenure as Scotland manager with a 1-1 draw.

Portsmouth midfielder Niko Kranjcar's 25-yard strike after 10 minutes gave the talented visitors the lead but Derby County striker Miller levelled on the half-hour mark when he fired in an angled shot from 12 yards.

Burley's side were pinned back for most of the second half but came close to grabbing the winner on two occasions through Miller and substitute Kris Boyd.

Finally, Freddy Eastwood put aside his frustration at club level to display his goalscoring prowess in Wales' 2-0 victory in Luxembourg.

Eastwood has not started a Wolves game since Boxing Day, but relished the chance to play for Wales and bagged a goal in each half to complete a comfortable win.
