Soccer:Galatasaray have admitted their interest in out-of-favour Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov. The Bulgarian, who signed from Spurs in 2008, has started only one Premier League game this season with his only goal of the campaign coming in the 3-0 Carling Cup win at Aldershot.

Galatasaray president Unal Aysal denies a deal is already in place for the Bulgarian, but says Berbatov is one of a number of players on their shortlist. “We’re not just looking at Berbatov; we’re interested in a number of players. We can only get in contact and decide at the end of December, when the time comes.”
