Ryan Giggs is recovering well from hamstring trouble and began light jogging yesterday.
After making a superb start to the new campaign, Giggs has been ruled out for up to a month after pulling up during the Champions League win over Celtic earlier this month.
The Welshman's absence has been a blow to United who have picked up just one point from their last two games to fall behind Premiership title favourites Chelsea.
With another international break looming, the earliest Giggs is likely to be back is in time for the trip to Wigan on October 14th .
"Things are going okay," Giggs said. "I did some light jogging for the first time on Sunday. All I can do now is wait and see how the injury progresses."
Millwall and manager Nigel Spackman have parted company by mutual consent.
The club is currently second from bottom in League One following relegation from the Championship last season. PA
