Soccer:Goalkeeper Shay Given will start in the Republic of Ireland's opening Group C game at the Euro 2012 after manager Giovanni Trapattoni picked the same starting line-up that played against Hungary last Monday night.
Given has only taken a limited part in training this week, although he did play in the A versus B game in the final session in Gdynia on Friday.
Kevin Doyle has held off Jonathan Walters for the second forward slot alongside Robbie Keane, with Damien Duff and Aiden McGeady named out wide in midfield. Glenn Whelan and Keith Andrews will start in the centre of midfield
All of Trapattoni’s first-choice backline have suffered from niggles in recent weeks, but came through a tough workout in Budapest to prove their fitness.
