Airtricity League round-up:Sligo Rovers moved top of the Premier Division with a comfortable 3-0 victory over Drogheda United at Hunky Dorys Park on Friday night.
Aaron Greene scored twice in the first half-hour to put the visitors in control, opening his account after just two minutes before doubling Sligo’s advantage just before the half hour from a tight angle.
Sligo had a number of chances in the second half but it took until eight minutes from the whistle to get their third, with John Russell bundling the ball over the line.
Drogheda were reduced to 10 men after Mark O’Brien received a second yellow in injury time.
