Contract negotiations with record goalscorer Thierry Henry are progressing well, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger said today.
Henry's current contract is due to expire at the end of next season but he has said he wants to stay at the club.
The Gunners have prepared a new offer for the 28-year-old but no agreement has yet been finalised.
Wenger said: "We are, at the moment, doing everything we need to. Since he stated he wanted to stay we have been quick to offer a contract and when we are ready we will announce it."
