PSV Eindhoven manager Guus Hiddink will leave the club at the end of the season but has refused to divulge his next destination.
He will take charge of Australia in this year's World Cup but will then tackle a new challenge. PSV have, meanwhile, confirmed that an approach has already been made for his services.
Hiddink has been strongly linked with the English and Russian national teams, while Dutch press speculation has also linked him with jobs at Hearts and Chelsea.
However, Chelsea's current coach Jose Mourinho has already confirmed he will stay at the Premiership champions next season.
Hiddink said: "I am stopping at the end of this season as coach of PSV. It's been a nice period of four years in which we have had many successes with the crew.
"We want to add a couple of more trophies this season (the Eredivisie and the Gatorade Cup)."
However, Hiddink was less forthcoming about where he will go after the World Cup.
"Furthermore I will say nothing else because nothing is concrete," the former Real Madrid and South Korea coach said.
"I do not deny that something is going on left and right. I am mulling things over and I will leave you guys to speculate."
PSV president Rob Westerhof revealed he had already received one approach for Hiddink.
Westerhof said: "It's extraordinary that Hiddink is leaving club. Guus is not only the most successful coach for PSV but also in the whole of Dutch football.
"It would have not only been for the best for the club to stay but for him to renew his contract and stay as long as (Alex) Ferguson and (Arsene) Wenger have with Manchester United and Arsenal.
"We spoke with Guus to see if he could stay at the club. There has been contact with a possible new employer but no negotiations yet." PA
