Trailing 2-1 to Sligo and with time running out they were indebted to Paul Keegan’s goal in the second minute of injury time to send the game into extra time.

In the meantime Sligo had been reduced to ten-men when Spaniard Martin Camano was sent off, but Sligo fought back to retake the lead on 62 minutes when Alan Keane fired home from the penalty spot.
