New Derry City manager John Robertson will get to experience a taste of local rivalry in the north-west earlier than expected when his side meet Finn Harps in the third round of the FAI Cup.
The defending champions, who endured a troubled season to date, must make the short jaunt to Ballybofey to meet their First Division opponents on the weekend of Sunday, August 19th.
Malahide and Fanad United, two of the three non-league sides left in the competition, were rewarded with ties against top-flight opposition, Malahide drawn at home to Bohemians while Donegal must travel to struggling Longford Town.
League leaders St Patrick's Athletic will face Bray Wanderers.
Meanwhile, Cork City manager Damien Richardson has doubts on the fitness of Darragh Ryan, Joe Gamble and Seán Kelly ahead of Saturday's Intertoto Cup meeting with Swedish side Hammarby.
Richardson, whose side meet Swedish opposition in Europe for the third time in four seasons, has had his scouts keeping tabs on the Swede's and is expecting a tough encounter.
"My information is that we are playing a team steeped in a tradition of open attacking football," he said."This will be a step up once again for us, and it is sure to be a demanding game. With the first leg at home it is vital that we use that to our advantage, and our European experience will be vital in this tie."
