Fulham 2 Hull 0:Goals from Bobby Zamora and Diomansy Kamara saw Fulham to a routine 2-0 victory over Premier League strugglers Hull at Craven Cottage tonight.
The Cottagers completely bossed proceedings from start to finish and were good value for their victory, which came thanks to Zamora's header just before the break, and Kamara's close-range finish 19 minutes into the second period.
Zamora failed to hit the target from close-range when he got on the end of Kamara's in-swinging delivery in the 23rd minute, and Boaz Myhill did well to block Damien Duff's drive from outside the box nine minutes later.
The visitors failed to heed their warning however, and it was from another Myhill parry that Fulham opened the scoring in the 43rd minute.
Duff again hit the target, this time with a left-footed dipping effort that the Hull stopper got down smartly to beat away but Myhill could not recover in time to deny Zamora, whose headed home his fourth goal in 24 games.
It took Hull 53 minutes to get a sight of goal but Stephen Hunt failed to test Mark Schwarzer when he blazed over from the edge of the box. Phil Brown introduced Bullard on the hour mark, who was given a frosty reception by the Fulham faithful. But despite the arrival of their record signing, the Tigers fell further behind on 64 minutes.
Zamora was again at the heart of it, as he beat the offside trap to latch onto a long ball played down the right-hand channel before unleashing a cross-shot across Myhill that left Kamara with the simplest of finishes.
