Inter Milan are prepared to offer David Beckham £110,000 a week to leave Real Madrid and move to the San Siro, reports today suggest.
The Serie A leaders are convinced they can lure the former England captain to the club with a massive wage packet plus complete control of his image rights and other off-pitch earnings.
Real Madrid take half of the midfielder's £20million annual sponsorship income but the Spanish club will be unable to prevent Inter approaching him during the January transfer window with his contract ending in the summer.
Agent Enzo Bronzetti, the man advising the Italian giants on how to sign Beckham, said: "I know Beckham will come to Italy. He's not so concerned about wages as what he earns from publicity contracts."
Beckham has also been linked with a move to America to play for LA Galaxy but he's now poured cold water on the speculation.
After he helped inspire Real Madrid to beat Athletic Bilbao on Sunday night he said: "The world's press are always talking, but I am happy at Real Madrid and I am not thinking about me going to the United States." PA
