The Republic of Ireland will face Colombia on May 29th in what will be Giovanni Trapattoni's second game in charge since his appointment earlier this month.
The match will take place at Fulham's Craven Cottage ground in London.
The Italian will take charge of the side for the first time five days beforehand, when he leads them out against Serbia in Croke Park on May 24th.
The squad will also travel to Portugal for a training camp at the end of the May.
Trapattoni takes up the reins on May 1st after seeing out the Austrian League season with Red Bull Salzburg, who currently lie third in a five-way scrap for the title.
Alex Ferguson suggested yesterday that the former Italy and Juventus coach will find it difficult to spark a dramatic improvement in Ireland's fortunes despite his management pedigree.
"His experience and CV is outstanding," said the Manchester United manager, "but that's no guarantee because you've got to have a nucleus of quality players for any manager to work with.
"Not so long ago the quality of the Irish players put the manager in a really good position but the present squad seem too young and to develop that group of players is going to be a patient job."
Colombia, who are ranked 21st in the world Fifa, will also play France in Paris on June 3rd. They are currently third in the South American World Cup qualifying group after four games.
