Soccer:West Brom's Republic of Ireland international striker Simon Cox has conceded he might need to move away from the club in January. He believes that he will have to play regular football in order to stand any chance of travelling with Giovanni Trappatoni's squad to the European Championship in Poland and Ukraine next summer.
Cox has previously spurned advances from other clubs, but he admits he is frustrated at spending so much time on the sidelines. “I’m never happy when I’m not playing. I would like to play more and it might be something I have to look at in the Christmas period.
“I might have to look at what I do but it’ll be decision made then, not anytime soon. If that is to happen then it’ll be a decision that suits everyone concerned. It’s a decision that’ll be made further down the line.”
