Juventus beat Brescia 2-0 tonight to move within three points of first place in Serie B as they bid to win promotion straight back to the top flight.
Juve, whose points penalty from the Serie A match-fixing scandal was cut from minus 17 to minus nine last week, are now third with 16 points from nine games behind leaders Genoa.
The Turin giants outclassed Brescia and took the lead in the sixth minute when Alessandro Del Piero curled in a free kick.
Del Piero made sure of the points midway through the first half when he unleashed a shot that deflected off Brescia striker Corrado Colombo to beat goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano.
