Sunderland goalkeeper Craig Gordon says boss Roy Keane, whose future is under the spotlight, commands everyone's respect at the Stadium of Light.
Keane's position at the club remains uncertain with reports claiming he could call time on his tenure after 72 hours of behind-the-scenes talks.
Five defeats from their last six Premier League games has seen Sunderland slip to second from bottom in the table and left Keane, who is out of contract next summer, contemplating his future.
While some may want Keane to move on, Scotland stopper Gordon says the Manchester United legend still commands all the players' respect.
"If our standards drop, he lets us know about it," he told the Daily Mail. "He's very fair in what he says.
"Everyone respects his judgement and what he tells us."
