Waterford United are seeking a new manager after manager Mike Kerley and his assistant Trevor Lovell tendered their resignations with immediate effect.
Having endured a disastrous season to date with just three points after 17 matches, Kerley felt it was time to walk away and his resignation was accepted by the Waterford board last night.
Derek Browne will take temporary charge of the side as they prepare for Sunday's trip to the Brandywell to face Derry City where a first win of the campaign is an unlikely prospect.
