CHAMPIONS LEAGUE ROUND-UP:A late free-kick from Anders Due gave Aalborg a 2-2 draw and denied Villarreal top spot in Group E ahead of Manchester United. The Spanish visitors took the lead through Giuseppe Rossi in the 41st minute, but Jeppe Curth levelled the score after a nifty back heel pass from Caca in the 54th minute.
Substitute Guille Franco gave Villarreal the edge again in the 75th minute but the home side had the last say when Due blasted a free kick in the top corner in the 81st minute.
