Ipswich boss Jim Magilton has ruled himself out of the running for the vacant Northern Ireland manager's job.
Belfast-born Magilton, capped 52 times for his country, has been linked as a potential replacement for Lawrie Sanchez, who resigned to take over at Fulham earlier this month.
Reports suggested Magilton was a candidate to take the role on a part-time basis but the 38-year-old said: "I won't be in the running for the job, full or part-time.
"I have a job to do at Ipswich and it's one I'm 100 per cent focused on. Getting this club back into the Premiership is a big enough challenge for me.
"I was very proud to play for my country and managing Northern Ireland would be a great honour, it's certainly something I'd like to do at some stage in my career.
"I've only been in the management game for a year and have a lot more experience to gain before I can be at that level, but one day I'd love the opportunity."
