Celtic reached the League Cup final after snatching a controversial last-gasp win over Motherwell with a goal from Shaun Maloney two minutes from time.
Celtic, 12 times winners of the League Cup, will now face fellow Scottish Premier League side Dunfermline in their 25th League Cup final at Hampden Park on March 19th.
Maloney got the winner after Welsh striker John Hartson rolled back a freekick for him to place into the top right corner with a neat, side-footed finish.
Motherwell had conceded possession after Martin Corrigan's pass-back to Graeme Smith forced the keeper to save six metres out giving away the freekick in a dangerous position.
Irishman Richie Foran had headed Motherwell in front after 11 minutes when Polish keeper Artur Boruc took his eye off a cross by Kevin McBride on the right, flapped at the ball and watched in agony as it sailed into the empty net.
But league leaders Celtic levelled with their first attempt on target as Maloney released Pole Maciej Zurawski through the middle and he clipped a shot off the advancing Smith with the ball hurtling high into the net after 29 minutes.
