A man will appear in court today charged in connection with an alleged attack on Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson.
Ferguson was allegedly kicked in the shins by a man at Euston station on Monday afternoon after travelling by train to London.
British Transport Police were called to the scene. A BTP spokesman confirmed that one of the alleged victims was Ferguson and said the Scot received injuries to his leg.
The United manager is not believed to have been badly hurt and attended a function in the capital as planned.
A 40-year-old man will appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court, central London, this morning, charged with one count of ABH, one count of assault and one public order offence.
