Celtic stars Artur Boruc, Shunsuke Nakamura and Lee Naylor are among the four contenders for the Scottish Professional Footballers' Association's Player of the Year award.

Aberdeen captain Russell Anderson has emerged as the only rival to the Celtic trio after all votes were processed, and the winner will be named at a Glasgow dinner on April 22nd.

Hearts goalkeeper Craig Gordon was the winner for the 2005-06 season.

Republic of Ireland and Celtic winger Aiden McGeady is one of four players in contention for the Young Player of the Year prize.

His rivals will be Rangers midfielder Charlie Adam, Hibernian and Scotland rising star Scott Brown, and Kilmarnock striker Steven Naismith.

Naismith won the award last year.
