Celtic 3-0 Aberdeen:Celtic maintained their three-point advantage in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League with a convincing victory in which Republic of Ireland international Aiden McGeady scored again.
The champions never looked back after Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink's 14th-minute header. Scott McDonald was on the mark again to confirm the Bhoys' superiority early in the second half.
However, there was some concern for Gordon Strachan after goalkeeper Artur Boruc was ruled out just before kick-off. The Pole was replaced by Mark Brown and his injury will worry Strachan ahead of Wednesday's Champions League game against Shakhtar Donetsk.
Aberdeen made four changes with Jamie Smith and Chris Clark back from injury and Richie Byrne and Sone Aluko recalled. But Jimmy Calderwood 3-4-3 formation did little to stop Celtic from dominating.
McGeady was a handful throughout and his second goal in two games in 27th minute matched the quality of his performance. The winger easily drifted inside Mair and had space 20 yards out to blast a left-footed strike just inside Langfield's near post.
