AC Milan have confirmed that an agreement has been made with Real Madrid to sign striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.

Rossoneri chief officer Adriano Galliani revealed that a deal had been reached between the two clubs for the 25-year-old striker.

He told Sky Italia: "The agreement has already been closed with Real Madrid. The Dutch player will be in Milan this evening (Thursday)."

After a successful spell at Ajax, Huntelaar joined Spanish giants Real in January 2009, but fell down the pecking order after president Florentino Perez embarked on his second Galactico spending spree.
