Celtic striker Kenny Miller has stressed the importance of the clean sheet in the 0-0 home draw with AC Milan in first leg of their Champions League first knockout round clash.
"It was a fantastic night and good to get a positive result," he said. "It would have been nice to get a little 1-0 win, but we are well in the tie still. They are one of the best teams in the world, but it is another game at Parkhead where we have not been beaten."
The Scottish champions last lost a European encounter at home in 2004 to Barcelona.
Despite an impressive home record, Celtic have still to rack up an away win in the tournament but Miller said: "If we can nick a goal across there it is going to make life tough for them."
Defender Lee Naylor backed his team mate's view.
"We kept to our task and got a clean sheet and go there with a lot of confidence," he said. "We can take one or two positives from keeping them to 0-0 and we know we can improve. They are now at home but it is even at 0-0 and if we can nick a goal over there then who knows?"
