Celtic's slim hopes of retaining their Scottish Premier League title have been boosted by the news that midfielder Shunsuke Nakamura has shrugged off an injury scare and insists he will be fit to face Rangers on Sunday.
The Japan international had to hobble out of training earlier this week with an ankle problem.
The club's medical staff have assessed the problem and Nakamura is set to line up against Rangers in the crunch clash with strapping on the affected area.
Nakamura told the Daily Record: "I will probably play with the strapping and as long as I have that I'll be fine."
Celtc lead Rangers in the league by two points but their fierce rivals have three games in hand.
